What does it cost?
FreeNothing, ever, for claiming and managing your profile. Founding partners receive featured placement free for life. Posting jobs and accepting applications through the platform have separate fees — those are optional and pay-as-you-go.
Can we post jobs and reach social workers?
Fees applyYes — and you'll reach the largest dedicated audience of licensed and pre-licensed social workers in the U.S. Job postings are paid; pricing scales with reach and listing tier. Founding partners get launch credits.
Can we accept applications through the platform?
Fees applyYes. Candidates can apply directly through SWU with their verified license, CEUs, and credentials attached. Applicant management is included with most posting tiers; some advanced features may have additional fees.

Can we invite and promote our students?
FreeYes — and every tool to invite, promote, and manage your students is permanently free. Bulk-invite cohorts, track student tool engagement, surface graduating-class profiles to employers, and connect your students directly to LCSW-eligible roles.
What if our program is already listed?
Claim it. We'll merge your information with our existing data and verify your authority via your .edu email domain. The whole process takes one business day.
Can students access SWU tools without us claiming?
Yes — every career tool, licensing guide, and resource is permanently free for students. Claiming gives you control and visibility, plus puts your program on your students' radar.
What data do you need from us post-claim?
Just publicly-available program data — formats, tuition ranges, application cycles, and (optionally) placement rates. We don't need confidential or proprietary information.
How is SocialWorkU different from Niche or GradSchools.com?
We're built specifically for social work, integrated with all 51 state licensing boards, and every tool your students get is mapped to their actual career trajectory — LCSW, LICSW, CEU, PSLF, supervision hours. Generic education marketplaces can't deliver that.
